Hi, I’m Joey.
I’m Joseph “Joey” Rochlin, an independent iOS app developer based in Santa Barbara, California. I design and build apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Watch.
I make apps the way I’d want to use them: fast, beautiful and obvious from the first tap.
My own apps are live on the App Store. REPLAY is a personal streaming service for your movies, shows and home videos. GEEKED OUT is a music and video studio with 13 pro tools. FLY(er) is a social network where culture happens first. I built each of them myself, from design to code to App Store launch, and I keep shipping updates.
Now I bring that same craft to businesses. Studios, spas, clinics and premium brands get an app that feels like theirs, published under their own name, from one person who answers their emails and cares how every screen looks.
Outside of apps, I make music. That ear for timing and feel shows up in everything I build: how a screen moves, how a button responds, how long a moment lasts.
Native, always.
Written in Swift for Apple devices. No web wrappers, no app-builder templates.
One point of contact.
You work with the person designing and building your app, from first call to launch and beyond.
Shipped, not promised.
Three apps of my own live on the App Store, across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Watch.
Let’s make something great.
Tell me about your business, and I’ll show you what your app could be.
